Highly recommend!! Amazing location on the border of the Cairngorms, surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely dark skies at night. The "room" itself was spacious, with a comfortable bed, warm atmosphere, and a well-equipped kitchen. The lodge-style rooms exceeded our expectations with a large living area and a luxurious bathroom. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff was friendly. A perfect break to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed at Kaoglen Doe, Feature Bathroom, Cairngorms, Pets Allowed and it exceeded expectations. the lodge was well, maintained and had great amenities. the staff went above and beyond to help when my car battery died. They provided a jump start and even sourced a new battery on their day off. the location was also amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature and with plenty of local walks. Highly recommend this lodge for a relaxing break. Cons: Nothing everything was great! 👍.

The location of the hotel is exactly what we were looking for, surrounded by nature with an abundance of wildlife such as birds, deer, and rabbits. the Doe lodge had a spacious and comfortable living area with a large flat-screen TV and seating for two. the bedroom was massive with a luxurious king-size bed. the bathroom connected to the bedroom had a beautiful freestanding bath and a great shower.
There were times when the neighboring property's noise was quite annoying.

The lodge rooms were amazing, with a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was a real highlight, with a free-standing bath and a great shower. The location was also a major plus, situated on the border of the Cairngorms and surrounded by beautiful nature. The kitchen was a great addition, especially for making quick meals in the remote setting. Plenty of local walks were available right outside the door.
Our room was attached to the reception area, which meant we experienced a lot of foot traffic from new arrivals. This lack of privacy, along with occasional noise from adjoining rooms, was a bit annoying.

Jaw-dropping location on the edge of the stunning Cairngorms, surrounded by beautiful nature and incredible dark skies at night. Super spacious lodge with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a huge bathroom with a freestanding bath and great shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were warm and cozy. The well-equipped kitchen was a fantastic addition, especially as there were limited dining options nearby. It had everything we needed for convenient breakfasts and light dinners. Plenty of local walks right outside the door for our furry friends, making it a pet-friendly accommodation. Amazing staff who went above and beyond to help us, even going as far as providing a jumpstart for my car in pouring rain. Simon, in particular, saved the day! Spotlessly clean lodge with all the necessary amenities for a short stay, including bedding, towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. The lodge exceeded our expectations, with a spacious living area, comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. The bedroom was incredibly spacious, featuring a luxurious king-size bed, and the connected bathroom was equipped with a lovely free-standing bath and a great shower. The lack of a hot tub in our lodge, the Doe, was a plus for us, as we weren't particularly interested in it.
